SocialDevelopment
Strengthening the social fabric of communities through acts of service, civic engagement, and the ancient wisdom of the Corporal Works of Mercy.
Our Framework
Corporal Works of Mercy
Rooted in a tradition of compassionate service, our Social Development programs address the most fundamental human needs — ensuring that no community member is left without dignity, care, or support.
Feed the Hungry
Monthly food drives and nutrition programmes serving families in food-insecure communities, particularly targeting children during school holidays when school feeding stops.
Care for the Sick
Health awareness campaigns, free medical screening days in partnership with local clinics, and advocacy for community health infrastructure improvements.
Shelter the Homeless
Community housing advocacy and support for vulnerable families facing displacement, working with local authorities to access social housing and support services.
Clothe the Naked
Clothing drives collecting and distributing quality second-hand clothing to families in need — especially for children returning to school at the start of each term.
Bury the Dead
Community bereavement support for families who cannot afford funeral costs, particularly for those who lose breadwinners — preventing deeper economic hardship.
Visit the Imprisoned
Prison literacy and mentorship programmes helping incarcerated individuals develop skills and plan for reintegration — reducing recidivism and strengthening families.

Beyond Programmes
Community is Our Strength
Real change happens when communities come together. Our outreach programs create spaces for collective voice, shared learning, and civic participation.

Civic Engagement
Training community members in civic participation — how to engage with local government, advocate for community needs, and exercise their democratic rights.
Awareness Campaigns
Targeted campaigns on issues such as child rights, girls' education, mental health, and sanitation — delivered through school visits, radio, and social media.
Inter-Community Exchange
Facilitating connections between communities so that successful local solutions can be shared and adapted across our network.
